This French motor manufacturer probably became the household name it is today following the launch of the highly successful Peugeot 205 way back in 1983 – a car that is believed to have turned around the ailing fortunes of the company at that time.
But the models being produced by Peugeot today are every bit as competitively innovative as any past models – as the examples below may go to show. First of all though, a little background.
In fact, Peugeot were getting it right for the market way back in 1899. True they made a modest 300 cars that year, but as total French car sales added up to just 1200 units at the time, it was a pretty impressive market share.
